20 days from today.
I haven't been on a "true roadtrip" since I toured the Great West as an 11-year-old.
I saw the Rockies, hit the Corn Palace, stopped by Wall Drug, "did" Vegas (tried to play a slot machine but was stopped by security), walked the green mile at Alcatraz and saw the Great Salt Lake (note: there's no longer water there).
This is the first of hopefully many entries documenting my trip from the Twin Cities to Washington D.C.-area from Nov. 26-Dec. 1.
Mikey, Ave and myself plan on hitting up our nation's capital, and maybe spending some QT with Dukakis. Though, he'll likely be in a foul mood most of the time - no doubt infrastaring - due to McCain/Palin's heavy defeat Nov. 4.
Nonetheless, check back periodically and feel free to leave comments or suggestions on where to stay and what to do.
There will also be a quiz aspect to the blog.
GARTV1 Question 1: Can you tell me the significance of the van above?
